Two Ways to Make Purchases Using Your Tommie Card
Tommie Card Funds
There are two ways to make purchases with your Tommie Card: using Dining Dollars, or using eXpress Funds.
On-Campus Only
Dining Dollars
Meal plans can be used at dining hall locations on the St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses. Dining Dollars are additional funds that come with a meal plan and can be used at on-campus dining locations (cafeterias, coffee shops, retail locations) for food only. You can't add Dining Dollars to your account, and any remaining Dining Dollars at the end of the semester do not carry over to the next semester.
On & Off Campus
eXpress
The eXpress account is a declining balance account that can be used at all on-campus locations as well as select off-campus businesses, now including Grubhub! Students, faculty, and staff can add money to their Tommie Card through the eXpress program by logging into CardCenter.
Students have 2 options for adding funds to their eXpress account. They can use the Bill Me function, which charges the amount to their student account, or with a credit card. If students use a credit card, they will get a 5% bonus at the time of deposit.
Parents and families can also make deposits into a student's eXpress account by logging into get.cbord.com/stthomas on a computer or by downloading the GET app on Android or Apple.
*Once funds are deposited into eXpress there are NO refunds until the student graduates or withdraws, or the faculty or staff member no longer works for the University. At that time if the balance is $10.00 or more, it will be refunded. We do not refund any amount less than $10.00.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you received an email with a link from the GET Funds system:
Simply click on the link; you will be taken to the credit card deposit screen in GET Funds for your student. Select the Plan (there is only one option) and amount ($50 minimum.) Enter your credit card data and email address. Confirm the purchase and you are done!
If you are not using an emailed link, but instead are entering through the online portal:
First things first - be sure you know your student's University of St. Thomas ID number (and last name.) Once you have those two bits of data, visit get.cbord.com/stthomas. On the right side of the site under "Parents, Guardians or Other Relatives:" select the link that states "Click Here to Deposit into a Student's Account." Enter the student ID and last name in the fields as requested. Select the Plan (there is only one option) and amount ($50 minimum.) Enter your credit card data and email address. Confirm the purchase and you are done!
No. Parents can only get into GET to add eXpress funds. Only the student can log in with their username and password to see their account balances or transaction history. Students are over 18, so we cannot give any of that information to parents. Parents will need to get that information from their students.
The eXpress Account can be used on campus at any Dining Services location (for students with Dining Dollars, your Dining Dollars will be used first), UST Bookstores, Tommie Central, Tommie Shop, Summit Marketplace, and select vending machines.
You can also use your eXpress account at several off-campus businesses in the neighborhood, including CVS, Davanni's, Five Guys, and many more.
