About Linda Baughman, Ed.D.

Dr. Linda Baughman has been Vice President for Student Affairs since August 2026. Linda has worked in Student Affairs at St. Thomas for 23 years, including as the Dean of Students prior to becoming Vice President. In her role as Vice President, Linda oversees the Anderson Student Center, Campus Life, Center for Well-Being (which includes Counseling and Psychological Services, Health Services, Health Promotion, Violence Prevention and Resiliency), Club Sports, Dean of Students Office, {create space}, Karon Veterans Resource Center, Off-Campus Student Life, Orientation and Registration, Parent and Family Resources, Residence Life and Student Diversity and Inclusion Services. Additionally, Linda co-chairs the University Action Response Team.

Linda is well-known as a strong advocate for St. Thomas students and a champion of those underrepresented on campus. Throughout her career, Linda has been acknowledged by students and colleagues alike as a compassionate and insightful leader who fosters inclusion, collaboration, and a division focused on student well-being and student engagement.
