Crisis Drop-In Counseling

Crisis drop-in counseling services are available at the Center for Well-Being on the St. Paul campus every weekday afternoon from 2-4 pm.

Crisis counseling focuses on a student’s immediate needs. Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes and are extended as needed. During busy times, a student may be asked to wait while the clinician attends to other students.

24/7 Crisis Counseling (phone counseling) is also available after hours for urgent support.

COVID-19 Counseling Protocol

Effective September 2021, counseling services will be provided both in person and by telehealth. In-person services are limited to fully vaccinated students and are conducted with masks on (both counselor and student).

For telehealth sessions, students must provide their own technology (laptop, phone, or tablet), have access to reliable Wi-Fi connection, and use of a private, confidential space in which to conduct sessions.
