Minor in Aerospace Engineering
The Aerospace Engineering Minor is designed for Mechanical or Civil Engineering students. This minor serves those who plan to pursue graduate study in aerospace or related fields, as well as those seeking careers in business and industry with an aerospace focus. It offers the opportunity to explore aerodynamics, propulsion, and related topics while providing hands-on experience with experimental methods and numerical simulations.
Students who have (or will have) completed courses prescribed for this minor as part of their major requirements shall consult with the Aerospace Engineering Minor program director for guidance on course selection to satisfy the required 18 credits. Students completing the Aerospace Engineering Minor will also be given priority consideration for Senior Design (ENGR 480/481) projects related to aerospace when available.

ENGR 226 - Introduction to Aerospace Engineering (2 cr.), only during Fall semester
ENGR 383 or ENGR 368 – Fluid mechanics (4 cr.)
ENGR 412 – Composite Materials (2 cr.), only Fall of odd years
