Commitments and Partnerships
We partner with numerous local, national and international organizations to advance the common good. All members of the St. Thomas community are invited to consider the ways in which they can give back and make a difference.
Catholic Teaching on Combating Racism
St. Thomas is a partner organization in the Catholic Racial Justice Coalition (CRJC) of the Twin Cities. They work to build just relationships, heal the wounds created by racism and discrimination, and contribute to ending racial injustice within our communities and collective Catholic organizations.
Catholic Teaching on the Environment
St. Thomas joined the Laudato Si’ Movement in 2021. This global initiative seeks to inspire and mobilize people around the world in caring for our common home. We stand with others in response to Pope Francis’ call to create a more sustainable world.
Partnerships
Formal and informal partnerships with local organizations provide St. Thomas community members transformational opportunities to serve and be transformed.
Catholic Relief Services
Catholic Relief Services work with organizations around the world to help people overcome emergencies, earn a living through agriculture and access affordable health care.
Catholic Charities
The mission of Catholic Charities is to serve those most in need and to advocate for justice in the community.
Deepening Faith and Building Community
Modern Catholic Pilgrim
Modern Catholic Pilgrim (MCP) is a nonprofit organization of the Catholic Church that aims to deepen faith and build community across the United States through walked pilgrimage. Since August 2022, MCP has operated out of the Campus Ministry office, working with students, faculty and staff to host pilgrimages on campus, in the Twin Cities and beyond.
