Spring Break VISION Trips
Dip your toe into service and explore the different communities across the United States. This week-long domestic spring break trip is the perfect amount of time to be intentional and connected with local communities.
J-Term 2024 Program Timeline:

Program Applications:December 11, 2023 to February 22, 2024.
- Applications are due Thursday, February 22, 2024.

Application Decisions: Will be communicated to applicants, along with scholarship information, by February 28, 2024.

Participant Commitment:
- A non-refundable $100 deposit is due by March 5, 2024.

Final Confirmation of Program Commitment:
- Due by participants at the Large Group Orientation on Saturday, March 9, 2024.

Final Payment:
- Participants will receive a program bill on their St. Thomas e-billing account. A $100 non-refundable deposit must be paid by March 5th, 2024.
- The VISION program follows the Study Abroad Policy for Travel Risk Cancellations.

Priority will be given to participants who complete their application before December 31, 2023.

VISION: Community Engagement Immersion Trip for Spring Break 2024

With Amate House, you'll live by values of faith, volunteering, community, and stewardship, engaging in reflective community activities and sharing meals. The VISION Spring Break group will be provided with all meals, emphasizing simple, sustainable living. Participate in tailored volunteering and community engagement experiences, with a thematic focus on food security and housing affordability and reflective leadership. This urban immersion experience costs covers transportation, food, lodging, and a structured agenda. Connect with like-minded Tommies and make a meaningful impact during your spring break.

Scholarships
We never want money to be an obstacle to participation in a program. There are scholarships available that can cover a percentage of the total trip cost, based on financial need. Scholarship applications should be submitted at the time you submit the program application.
