Middle/Secondary Education: Mathematics (9-12)

A major in Mathematics Education leads to a degree and teaching license. Students with this major will be qualified to teach 5-12 Mathematics.

The requirements for Mathematics Education also satisfy the requirements for a B.A. in Mathematics.

Declaring your major: To declare this major, you should start with Middle/Secondary Education (MSED) and then find Mathematics (MSMA). You should also choose to add a B.A. in Mathematics (MTHE).
