Mission
The Office for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion serves as an institutional leader on matters of diversity, equity and inclusion at the University of St. Thomas. In doing so, the office provides strategy, leadership, consultations and partnerships in leveraging the transformative power of inclusive excellence at all institutional levels, including teaching, research, outreach and community engagement.

Vision
We envision a campus culture that fosters belonging through a collective mindset that embraces diversity, seeks equitable processes and systems and cultivates and practices inclusion for those who live, learn and work in our community.

Inclusive Excellence Statement
We consider inclusive excellence as indispensable to our academic success and the holistic development and advancement of our students, staff and faculty. We value the vast array of individuals and group characteristics, including social, physical, and psychological differences. All provide a university experience rich in perspectives with opportunities to learn from and create just relationships for an inclusive and equitable community. In doing so, we are committed to synergizing diversity, equity and inclusion at all institutional levels.
