Located in Sitzmann Hall, home of Catholic Studies, the Albertus Magnus Chapel is dedicated to St. Albertus Magnus, a Dominican philosopher, theologian, scientist, bishop, and teacher of St. Thomas Aquinas.
The chapel is open for personal prayer and meditation 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (Monday-Friday). Mass is celebrated at 5:05 p.m. (Monday-Thursday) and Eucharistic Adoration is available 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (Mondays) during the academic year.
The chapel has four tryptic stained-glass windows, originally from a parish in Massachusetts, that depict Saints Augustine, John the Baptist, Joan of Arc, and Louis, King of France. The Stained-glass Windows of the Albertus Magnus Chapel.
Our Lady of Guadalupe and Albertus Magnus statues are housed within Albertus Magnus Chapel.
Boxes on the walls of the chapel display relics of various saints that were gifted to the university.
