Aquinas Scholars Honors Seminar "Rivers Run Through Us" Canoe Trip

Drs. Tom Hickson and Craig Eliason students recently took a canoe trip as part of the Aquinas Scholars Honors Seminar "Rivers Run Through Us" which explores how the great rivers of the United States permeate our world and touch many aspects of our lives.

Through scientific literature, historical essays, government documents, and art the class explores how rivers frame our country’s collective sense of itself and have been challenged by human impacts over the past few centuries.
