The libraries enrich scholarship and teaching by providing information resources, services, and instruction that support the curriculum and the intellectual development of St. Thomas students, faculty, and staff. 

  • Overall operation of the University Libraries, including strategic planning, budgeting, staffing, and assessment.
  • Development and support for staffing, research and instruction services, collection management, and physical spaces that meet the teaching, learning, and research needs of the St. Thomas community.
  • Guidance in strategic planning, budgeting, and assessment of the libraries' programs in consultation and collaboration with deans, faculty, students, and administrators and in support of the mission of the university.
  • Lead university-wide efforts to support development and promotion of online, credit-based offerings, especially at the graduate level. Includes leading the SPEED (Strategic Program Evaluation, Execution, and Development) team, which supports faculty as they develop programs and work to launch online programs.
