About the Setting
The Grotto
The Grotto has offered a peaceful place for reflection for more than a century. Its origins date to the 1910s, when seminarians began transforming a wooded ravine near the Mississippi River into a shrine to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Today, winding paths and sculptures make it one of the St. Paul campus’s most tranquil places for walking, studying and reflection.
About Hidden Stories
Hidden Stories was created in partnership with Wonderlust Productions and with the support of the College of Arts and Sciences. The plays were generated through story circles with students, staff, faculty, and alumni of the University of St. Thomas.
