Tommies Together Volunteer Center
Volunteering opportunities to connect University of St. Thomas students and faculty with social change efforts in local and global organizations.
The Tommies Together Volunteer Center provides students and graduates a range of co-curricular opportunities to volunteer their time in service to the community. Whether you want to participate in our annual Tommies Together Day of Service, or make your own volunteer commitment to a community partner, we can help you get started.
Find Volunteer Opportunities
Community partners provide hundreds of opportunities for St. Thomas students to match their career path or personal interests, broaden their perspective, and become engaged in the work happening on the ground to create positive social change.
Youth Engagement
Through tutoring, mentoring, and early college awareness programs, University of St. Thomas students support local youth and work toward addressing the opportunity gap in local communities
Community Engagement Day
During their first week on campus, first-year students have the opportunity to connect with community organizations and on-campus groups to learn about co-curricular service opportunities dedicated to advancing the common good through volunteerism.
Community Partnership and Volunteer Fairs
The St. Thomas community hosts two volunteer fairs each year to connect students, faculty, and staff with short- or long-term volunteer opportunities. Nonprofits set up booths to share the various ways we can directly impact our local community all for the common good.
Volunteer Resources
The center provides one-on-one coaching for those seeking assistance planning a volunteer event, maintains a database of local volunteer projects, and provides several leadership development opportunities.
