Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities (ACTC)

The Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities (ACTC) is a legal entity designed to facilitate cooperative activities among the five benefiting institutions, which include Augsburg College,  Hamline University, Macalester College, St. Catherine University and the University of St. Thomas.

The ACTC website provides detailed information regarding:

  •    academic programs
  •    class schedules
  •    cross-registration policies and procedures
  •    academic calendars
  •    campus guides for students

Final exam schedules can be found on the websites of the participating colleges.

Augsburg College follows a different academic calendar for spring semester than the University of St. Thomas. As a result, the registration period at Augsburg begins two weeks earlier. If you are interested in enrolling in an ACTC course at Augsburg College, please complete an ACTC add/drop form and submit it to the Office of Student Data and Registrar.

The Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities no longer offers bus service between the campuses.  There are many sustainable and affordable transportation options, including Metro Transit bus routes, car-sharing and bicycle-sharing programs. ACTC and St. Thomas will continue to work with local organizations, including HourCar, Car2Go and NiceRide to expand the range of transportation options to each member institution.
