University of St. Thomas Dining Services is proud to be one of the largest student employers on campus. Employment opportunities are available in Beakers Coffee Shop, The Binz, Catering, Food For Thought, T's, Scooter's and The View.

Dining Services offers competitive starting wages for new student employees. We coordinate with you to create work schedules that fit around your class schedule and other campus activities. For students living on campus, what could be easier? There's no need to drive to work or deal with parking. When working with Dining Services, your job is just steps away from your campus residence.

Dining Services offers employment opportunities in many locations including Residential Dining, Retail Locations and Catering Services. Each venue is unique and offers a different work environment.

Operation Description
Residential Dining

Includes The View and Binz Refectory.

Residential Dining offers opportunities for set weekly schedules that are the same week to week. Shifts in these areas generally run between 3-4 hours.  tudents generally work 10-12 hours per week, but many choose to work more.

Retail Operations

Includes T's, Summit Marketplace, Scooters, Beakers Coffee Shop, and Food for Thought.

Retail locations provide opportunities for one-on-one customer service. Many different jobs are available within the retail environment includes cashiers, food preparation, baristas, and culinary related roles.


Catering services provides unique and custom events ranging from simple pick-up/deliveries to full service banquets. Each event is different and there is always something new in catering.

Consider working with our catering team if you like flexible schedules that might change week to week. Some students enjoy the option to work a large number of hours in a single event instead of working several shorter shifts throughout the week.
