Social Media at St. Thomas

The University of St. Thomas uses social media to communicate its mission and personality through the sharing of relevant and timely content while engaging in conversations with key audiences, including prospective and current students, parents, alumni, friends and donors.

This website is operated by the New Media Initiatives Group and offers descriptions of many of the social media platforms being used at the university, along with recommended best practices for users of these sites.

Just getting started?

If you represent an academic department or administrative office at St. Thomas and plan on launching a social media site, read up on UST social media best practices and policy. You can request further assistance by submitting an online form or sending an email to socialmedia@stthomas.edu.

To have your St. Thomas-affiliated social media site considered for the official registry, please review the registry policy, then fill out the online form. You will receive a response within a week of submitting the form.
