Overnight Permits Offered for Nonresident Students Parking Services January 9, 2013 For spring 2013, Parking Services is offering an overnight permit for nonresident students. The permits will be awarded through a lottery and will be based on resident permit volume. The permits will cost $230 and will be valid only for the lower level of the Anderson Parking Facility. Lottery forms can be found online or can be picked up from the Parking Services office, 2119 Grand Ave., on the corner of Grand Avenue and Finn Street. Lottery forms must be submitted by 11 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28. Lottery results will be emailed after 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30. This is a test run for nonresident overnight permits. Whether these permits will be offered again will depend on the success of this offering and on resident permit capacity. From one year to another, there will be no guarantee that these permits will be available. If resident student permits fill the available overnight parking spaces, nonresident overnight permits would not be available. When nonresident overnight permits are available, they will be awarded after all lottery entries for resident permits have been filled. The number of nonresident overnight permits available will fluctuate depending upon available space.
