Dietary Restriction Information
Do you have specific dietary requirements? UST Dining Services is here to help you.
Whether you have food allergies, are gluten or lactose intolerant, are diabetic, or have other specific dietary needs due to medical or cultural reasons, UST culinary staff is here to help.
To help us accommodate your needs, please fill out the Individual Dietary Needs Form. If your dietary restrictions are due to a medically-diagnosed condition that requires accommodation, UST Disability Resources requires that a signed Physician Form be submitted to the Dining Services office in ASC 351.
Once the appropriate documentation is received, Angela Hasouris, Project Manager, Dining Services, will contact you to coordinate the next steps. Medically-diagnosed conditions require a consultation with a Dining Services’ staff member from your preferred dining venue.
A Registered Dietitian is available through Health Services for those who would like more comprehensive dietary assistance. Most medical insurance plans cover this service.
While UST Dining Services makes every attempt to accommodate students’ individualized dietary needs, please be aware that all UST Dining Services’ locations prepare items containing egg, fish, milk, peanuts, shellfish, soy, tree nuts and wheat. Questions about ingredients should be directed to a Dining Services Manager. In addition, there is always the possibility of cross-contact and suppliers and manufacturers may substitute or modify products at any time, without notifying us. Individuals with food-related dietary concerns should be aware of these risks. It is the responsibility of individuals with food allergies or nutritional concerns to make the final judgment about whether a food item is appropriate for them. UST does not assume liability for adverse reactions to food consumed from any UST Dining location.
