Resources for Alumni

The University of St. Thomas will continue to support you in your career endeavors beyond graduation. We offer several services for alumni.

In a Career Search/Transition?

Career development is a lifelong process and does not always mean a job or career change. Whether you are looking for professional development or planning on polishing up your résumé or interviewing skills, as an alumnus or alumnae, our services are available to you for free. If you would like to meet for an individual counseling appointment, please call our office at (651) 962-6761.

Hire a Tommie

We have many resources for those who are in the position to hire, such as information on resume books, posting a job or internship, and other services. You could also be a career contact and provide information to students looking to start their careers.

LinkedIn - Join Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK)

Are you a University of St. Thomas alumnus or alumna who would be willing to grant informational interviews to students seeking information about your career area? Help students by joining the Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK) group on LinkedIn‎. You could provide valuable information about the education, experience, and skills needed to perform your job.

Be a Career Volunteer

Be a professional mentor to a current St. Thomas student. The Student-Alumni Mentoring Program offers students an opportunity to meet with an alumnus/a on an ongoing basis throughout academic year. Click here for more information.

Be available to students for information & advice interviews. The Take a Tommie to Lunch Program matches an alumnus or alumna with a student in their major/career field area for a one-time meeting, usually over lunch, during the spring semester.  Click here for more information.

Connect with the Alumni Association to see how you can contribute and benefit from an on-going relationship with your alma mater.
