2017 Symposium

It's jUST Honors

Events take place April 25, 27, & 28 and include a student art exhibition, faculty presentations, and button and poster making activities.

The 2017 Aquinas Scholars symposium will be held on April 25, 27, and 28 and will focus around this year’s theme: It’s jUST Honors. The events are open to all students, faculty, and the general public. Events include:

Faculty Presentations
Tuesday, April 25, 2017
5:30-8:00pm
Anderson Student Center Hearth Room (ASC 340)

This mixer-style event incorporates faculty presentations and an audience Q&A session. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Student Art Exhibition
Thursday, April 27, 2017
6:00-8:00pm
Anderson Student Center Dorsey Way (ASC 2nd floor)

Focused on social justice and this year’s theme, art will be displayed throughout Dorsey Way as an interactive art exhibit. Photographs, poetry, essays and more will be on display for the night. Come and engage in an open dialogue and witness students’ interpretations and experiences with current social issues. Hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Interact with Scholars and students while learning how to make an impactful messages, posters, and buttons. We will have a variety of crafts to choose from and snacks will be provided. In addition, the event will have masseuses to help students relax and channel their creative energies.
