‌Globalization

The Division of Student Affairs will expand support for globalization by developing programs and collaborations that allow for meaningful connections to be made between international and domestic students, minimize barriers for international students and enhance the intercultural competence of Student Affairs staff.

GoinGlobal

Student Affairs launched “GoinGlobal,” a database that contains country-specific career and employment resources for more than 90 locations. The topic areas include: Job search resources, Work permit/visa regulations, Country-specific resume/CV guidelines, Interview and Cultural advice, Employment outlook/industry trends, professional and social networking groups.

Global Residential Opportunities

Student Affairs has created a number of opportunities for students to engage in a global experience through an international community housing option on Grand Avenue, a Global Connections special interest community, and a Global Living Learning Community.

Travel Clinic

Student Affairs offers a travel clinic for students, staff and faculty who are traveling abroad.  The Travel Clinic offers convenient, low cost, high quality care for pre- and post-travel health care needs.  The clinic helps St. Thomas community members minimize risk by providing the information, medication, and immunizations to stay healthy during their travels.
