WELCOME TO THE SCHOOL OF SOCIAL WORK!
OUR MISSION:

Grounded in social justice and inspired by Catholic social thought, we educate and engage students to
learn, grow and develop their professional skills as they prepare for social work practice
in support of health, well-being, and the common good.

The Social Work at the University of St. Thomas College of Health recognizes two goals of generalist social work, which provides the foundation of all levels of practice:

To restore and enhance the social functioning of systems of all sizes (individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities); and to promote a more just society.

The University of St. Thomas offers our Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) focused on generalist social work practice; our Master of Social Work (MSW) focused on clinical social work practice; and our Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) focused on Education as Practice. We invite you to explore our school, our programs, and our community resources through the tabs, above, and the links, below. Please contact us with any questions - we look forward to connecting with you!
