SIFE, Students In Free Enterprise, will have pizza and an informational meeting at 6 p.m. today, Thursday, Sept. 23, in Room 116, McNeely Hall.
SIFE’s mission is to bring together the top leaders of today and tomorrow to create a better, more sustainable world through the positive power of business. UST SIFE competes in a regional competition every year at which the team presents projects meant to empower people in need by applying business and economic concepts.
Last year the team advanced to the national competition for the first time. These competitions also feature a job fair, which provides an opportunity for SIFE students to obtain internships or jobs from dozens of SIFE sponsors such as Walgreen’s, Sam’s Club, SuperValu, KPMG, Best Buy and Wells Fargo.
