Reservations for next week's Vendor Fair are lagging behind last year's pace, so don’t forget to R.S.V.P. Vendor Fair, hosted by Purchasing Services, includes lunch, prizes and a chance for faculty and staff to meet the university's preferred vendors.
The fourth annual fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center, on the St. Paul campus, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18, in the School of Law Atrium on the Minneapolis campus.
Vendor categories include travel, local hotels, office supplies, printers, apparel, advertising promotions and continuing education. Raffle prizes offered by many preferred vendors include travel vouchers, hotel gift certificates and baskets of office supplies.
All UST faculty and staff are invited to R.S.V.P. here one time by Thursday, Aug. 12, to provide an accurate count for lunch.
New polices regarding preferred vendors became effective July 1. The university's Purchasing Committee announced guidelines for bidding and vendors in July.
