In 2002 he became an associate director in the newly formed Client Services department of IRT, and he became director of that department in 2005. In 2006 he was named director of information security; Gregg kept the security role and absorbed it into his director of information technology position in 2008.

“I am very pleased that Chris Gregg has agreed to take on the responsibilities for vice president for Information Resources and Technology during the coming interim year,” Huber commented. “Chris has solid support from the university-at-large and his IRT colleagues to head this unit because of the knowledge and expertise he brings to the position and his collaborative work-style. I am confident that he will set the pace for achieving the goals and strategic direction for IRT for the coming year.”

Before coming to St. Thomas, Gregg was a technical consultant in the WESTLAW customer service department at West Publishing in Eagan.

A Stillwater resident, Gregg completed his M.B.A. degree at St. Thomas in 2010.
