Eligibility

 

The Murray Institute funds a wide range of graduate degrees and certification programs for individuals involved in the educational ministries of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. All academic degrees and certificates are awarded by the University of St. Thomas.

Participants enrolled in a Murray supported graduate degree or certificate program must adhere to the expected outcomes of their individual program handbook and achieve adequate and successful progression towards program completion.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for admission to a Murray-funded graduate academic program at the University of St. Thomas, candidates must meet certain employment and academic requirements as well as program completion requirements.

    Eligible applicants must:

    • Be employed through the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis in educational ministries (e.g., Catholic school teachers and administrators, parish religious educators, and directors of religious education). No minimum years of service are required.
    • Obtain support from their principal or pastor and the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis.
    • Commit to working within the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis for the duration of the program and up to 3 years upon completion of the program.
