CV

Wendy Raymond is a first-year law student at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN. Wendy is currently immersed in exploring the utility and beneficial change she can work towards using her J.D. degree, with a special interest in policy, education, technology and compliance. After graduating from St. Olaf College (Northfield, MN) with a degree in Political Science and Economics and served as Student Government Vice President, she spent the summer in Spain teaching English before working in her native Chicago’s entertainment industry.

In April 2016, she moved back to her second home of Minneapolis to serve as a public policy associate for a non-profit focused on youth mentoring and education. She started to develop the art of lobbying and persuasive communication in order to best serve Minnesota’s youth. Having a lifelong passion for baking, she started to train as a baker at Isles Bun & Coffee Company before jumping into compliance, international logistics and supply chain management for the North American branch of the U.K. based firm, Bunzl Retail.

Currently, Wendy lives in Northeast Minneapolis, MN where she can be found running across the Stone Arch Bridge, wrangling friends into Trivia Nights, or serving as the Captain of Morale for her co-ed soccer team.
