M.A. Catholic Studies, 2020
CV

I graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2018 with a B.A. in History and Philosophy. During the summer months I work on the Alaska State Railroad maintaining and repairing track in areas between Seward and Fairbanks (over 300 miles of track). Before moving to Minnesota for school, I was the President of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul Holy Family Cathedral Conference for 2 years, and taught Catechesis to 3rd and 4th grade students. I am a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus.

I decided to join the Catholic Studies Master's program after accidentally discovering Sitzmann Hall while visiting family during my Spring Break. It was an amazing experience with friendly people and a solid Catholic environment. I am enjoying the new challenges, friendships, and professors.

I was born and raised in Anchorage, AK where I continue to live (when not in school) and work. My brother studied at St. Paul Seminary and is now a priest for the Archdiocese of Anchorage. I enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and hiking. Alaska is an awesome testament to the beauty of Creation and God’s many gifts.
