Jenny O'Brien is an attorney and compliance professional contributing and serving on non-profit and publicly held executive leadership teams. She has held leadership roles in government, non-profit and for-profit organizations, including Chief Compliance Officer of UnitedHealthcare, the nation's largest health insurance company. Her experience in government includes legislative policy roles and serving as an assistant attorney general. Additionally, she served as the Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer for a large non-profit integrated health care system and as partner in a law firm. Jenny's corporate governance expertise includes serving on the Board of Directors for Bon Secours Mercy Health System, a $10B integrated health care organization where she also serves as Chair of the Audit & Compliance Committee. She is also on the Board of Directors of St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon and board member and past president of SCCE (Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics)/HCCA (Health Care Compliance Association), which has international membership from over 100 countries. In addition to serving as an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas School of Law, she has also served as adjunct professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law in St. Paul, MN where she also sits on the Health Law Institute Advisory Board.
