Two law school graduation ceremonies will be held on Sunday, May 16. A ceremony for the Class of 2020 will be held at 10 a.m. and a ceremony for the Class of 2021 will be held at 2 p.m.

Ceremony details:

  • Both events will be located at O’Shaughnessy Stadium on the University of St. Thomas St. Paul Campus.
  • Graduates may invite up to four guests to their class' ceremony.
  • Both ceremonies will be held outdoors, rain or shine. If there is severe weather, the ceremonies will be moved inside to the Anderson Athletic & Recreation Complex (field house). Students will be limited to two guests if the ceremonies are indoors.
  • All planning will be aligned with Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) recommendations. Safety protocols will be in place, including wearing a mask or face covering and social distancing.

Class of 2020:

  • Wear the cap and gown that you received last spring.
  • Let us know if you will be attending the ceremony on May 16, along with the names of your guests, by completing the short survey that was sent to you by email. COVID restrictions require pre-registration and assigned seats for all graduates and their guests. Please complete the survey by Monday, April 26. Failure to complete the survey will result in graduates or guests not being admitted to the ceremony, which we want to avoid. Guest tickets will not be transferrable.
