Health Promotion encourages, promotes, and educates St. Thomas students on developing healthy lifestyles.
Health Promotion is happy to share information with students. Topics include: nutrition, sleep fitness, tobacco use, drug issues, alcohol, healthy relationships, sexual violence and prevention, STI’s, stress, and body image. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to get more information.
Health Promotion is part of the Center for Well-Being, but it is not where you should go if you are ill and/or injured and need medical care. Students should go to Health Services located in the lower level of Brady Hall until January 13. After January 13, Health Services will be integrated into the Center for Well-Being, 35 South Finn Street, between Summit and Grand Avenues.
Health Promotion is happy to help direct you to find a resource to address your needs, either within the Center for Well-Being, or outside.
We often receive requests for advice about how to help a friend in need. Whether the situation is body image, mental health, alcohol habits, sleep, or whatever the situation, Health Promotion can give you information and refer you to additional resources you may need.
Health Promotion offers many different programs throughout the academic year. Some of our favorites are the Homecoming 5K Run/Walk, Sleep Challange, Tommie Triathlon, and Fitness Challenge. Check out our Upcoming Events section!
