English Department End-of-Year Celebration

English majors and minors are invited to join department faculty for an end-of-year celebration and to wish our graduating seniors well!

Date & Time:

Tuesday, May 7, 2019
11:45 AM - 1:15 PM

Anderson Student Center, Iversen Hearth Room (ASC 340)

English Department faculty and staff cordially invite all English majors and minors to join them both to celebrate the end of the academic year and to honor seniors on the eve of their graduation from St. Thomas.

As usual, we'll offer everyone a free lunch, so bring your appetite! During this event, Andrew DeYoung ’08 (MA), our Distinguished Alumni Award recipient and 2018 Minnesota Book Award for Young Adult Literature winner for his book The Exo Project, will give a brief keynote address. We’ll also take a group picture of all attending seniors, followed by a small ceremony where graduating Sigma Tau Delta/Literary Club members will receive their honor cords and essay contest winners will be awarded their prize.

At the end of this casual mix-and-mingle event, all graduating seniors will receive a special commemorative gift.
