Career Highlights: 

Solomon is a principal waterway engineer in the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDOT). For the past 10 years his work has focused on hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for bridge design, bridge scour, and countermeasure design. In addition, he provides statewide technical hydraulic and hydrologic support to all MNDOT districts. He also serves as a technical advisory committee member on several national and local research projects. Prior to working with MNDOT, he worked as a research assistant at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium, working on groundwater modeling and GIS applications in water resources engineering. Solomon is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Minnesota.
