Career Highlights:

Kim has participated as an inventor and leader in the medical device industry for 25 years. She currently holds over 50 patents on devices ranging from heart valves to stress urinary incontinence treatments.  Kim started her career as a technician at 3M characterizing thin films.  As an engineer for St. Jude Medical, she participated in cross functional projects that developed heart valves, annuloplasty rings, and implant instrumentation.  She became the Director of Engineering at American Medical Systems and led the development of revolutionary treatments in the area of Female Pelvic Health.   Kim is currently an independent consultant working with medical device companies to bring new products to market.
