Residential Dining Food Service Worker

This position primarily serves customers in the residential dining halls, which include The View and The Binz. Employees will cross-train in all positions in the operation, including food prep/service, cashier, dish washer, retail and catering. Successful workers will have opportunities for advancement as a Student Lead. Job duties include:

  • Prep, cook and/or serve food at various food stations
  • Set up stations for meal service
  • Restock food, serviceware and supplies
  • Greet customers and operate cash register

This position primarily serves customers in the retail dining locations: Scooter's, Summit Marketplace, T's, The Loft, Stacks Café and Beakers. Employees will cross-train in all positions in the operation, with successful workers having opportunities for advancement as a Student Lead.

Student Banquet Server

Dining Services Catering offers flexible work schedules (morning, afternoon, evening and weekend) at convenient on-campus locations. This position assists at various catered events on campus, and will cross-train in other units of the operation, including retail/residential, food prep and service, cashier and dish washer. Successful workers will have opportunities for advancement as a Student Lead. Job duties include:

  • Assist with room set up and clean up for catered events
  • Serve food and beverages during banquets, picnics and tailgate events
  • Deliver catering items to locations across campus
  • Restock food, serviceware and supplies
