Mr. Marvin Anderson Shares History of Rondo Community with Aquinas Scholars

Drs. Aura Wharton-Beck, Ed.D. and Rita Lederle recently led students from their seminar “Race and Place” to the Rondo neighborhood of St. Paul to explore how the "history of infrastructures and housing in the United States and provides a critical lens to analyze the multi-dimensional factors related to race, class, and economics.”

Class began at the Taste of Rondo Restaurant and expanded to the Rondo Commemorative Plaza to hear about the history of the Rondo Community from renowned oral historian, Mr. Marvin Anderson.
