Date & Time:

Monday, December 12, 2016
4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Location:

St. Mark's School, an elementary and middle school that is an easy 5-10 minute walk from campus

We have one of our last service opportunities coming up on Monday, December 12th at St. Marks School. The school is looking for Scholars to help run time clocks and keep the score for youth recreational basketball games at the school.

The athletic director is looking either for groups of two people to run the clock or if you would like to do it on your own that is also an option. The games are at 4:00, 5:00 and 6:00 pm that night. If you would like to commit to all three games that night that would be great, or if you are able to work only one of the 4:00, 5:00, or 6:00pm games that would be great as well, please just let us know.

The games are for middle schoolers so it would be best if you have a grasp on the rules of basketball and how to work the clock, but the athletic director at St. Marks will also be able to provide some directions for operating the clock if needed.

St. Marks has also provided a list of other game dates throughout the upcoming months during which they need volunteers, if you would be interested in volunteering at any of those future games let us know and we can help you get on the schedule. Typically when running the clock at these games volunteers do get paid. If you want to volunteer and earn points for the Scholars program you will not be paid, but if you are interested in being a paid volunteer and not getting points you can let us know and we can connect you with the athletic director of St. Marks.

St. Marks is an elementary and middle school that is an easy 5-10 minute walk from campus. If you need any help with directions please just shoot Meghan Peterson or Katie Ray an email.
