 And here are some notes about the event from the SHH Website: 

• This is a great opportunity for individuals and small groups to serve in a fun and energetic environment. Volunteers will participate in setting up the distribution, sort food, greet clients as they arrive, and hand the food to clients. Some volunteer may be asked to assist in minimal client tracking. Instructions and training will be provided on site. 

• This distribution is very active, so please wear comfortable clothing that can get a little dirty (potential dirt from the fresh produce) and close-toed shoes. We encourage volunteers to limit their personal belongs at these events to only what they can carry as we cannot guarantee a secure location to place coats, purses and other personal belongings at any of the schools
• Upon arrival you will sign-in, receive a name tag and an orientation giving the details of the event.

Please email: howe0623@stthomas.edu to sign up for the event. We also are looking for drivers, so please let me know if you can drive and how many people you can drive including yourself.  

Since we are signed up to bringing a specific number of volunteers, please only sign up if you are sure you can commit to the event.  If for some reason you are unable to make the event we just ask that you find someone as your replacement to volunteer at the event.
