UST Welcomes Prospective Students, Families for Minnesota Private College Week Kate Metzger June 20, 2011 The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will welcome hundreds of prospective students and their families to campus this week, June 20-24, as part of Minnesota Private College Week.The event, coordinated by the Minnesota Private College Council, offers prospective college students the opportunity to tour several participating college campuses in a short amount of time to help jump-start the college search process.At St. Thomas, guests will have a chance to hear from faculty, staff and student speakers and participate in a tour of the campus. Visit times are 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily. Event headquarters will be located in Room 304, Murray-Herrick Campus Center; families will park in the Anderson Parking Facility on the south campus.“Please join the admissions staff in welcoming our guests to St. Thomas,” remarked Kelly Voecks, the operations manager of enrollment. “We want to show off our welcoming community as well as our campus this week.
