  • "Minnesota native to lead KPMG," St. Paul Pioneer Press, May 31, 2007. "Minnesota native Timothy Flynn, 50, on Wednesday was named chairman of Amsterdam-based KPMG International, one of the world's biggest accounting firms, with 113,000 partners and professionals worldwide and revenue of $16.9 billion last year. He will assume that post Oct. 1. A University of St. Thomas alumnus, Flynn started his career at KPMG's Minneapolis office in 1979 and worked there until 1996. He became chairman and CEO of KPMG in the United States in 2005, as the accounting industry was trying to shake off the scandals of the Enron era."
