This summer, the Center for Catholic Studies will host another in its series of interdisciplinary seminars on a topic important to the Catholic Intellectual Tradition.
This summer’s seminar, “Must Knowledge Be Secular? Ideological Assumptions and Institutionalization of the Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities,” will be directed by Dr. Brad Gregory of the History Department at the University of Notre Dame.
The seminar will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday, June 7-11, and is open to faculty from all departments. Participants will be expected to do a modest amount of reading in preparation for each day’s seminar and will receive a stipend of $500 for participation.
