Greetings From Student Diversity and Inclusion Services St. Thomas Newsroom January 27, 2012 The beginning of a new year brings forth fresh energy, opportunities, initiatives and for Multicultural Student Services, a new name! For more than 40 years our office has provided programs, support, and advocacy to enhance the university’s diversity and inclusion initiatives. As we continue the legacy of affirming identity, building community and cultivating leadership, we would like to highlight upcoming programs as we are excited about the beginning of the spring semester. Friday, Feb. 3 Student Diversity and Inclusion Services Open House and Ice Cream Social Location: Anderson Student Center, Room 224 Time: 1-4 p.m. Student Diversity and Inclusion Services Fun Night Featuring: “Desdamona” and “DJ Enferno” Location: Anderson Student Center, Room LL 07/Dance Time: 7-10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17 Heritage Month Programming: Black History Month Featuring: “Daughters of Africa,” Mixed Blood Theater performance Location: Anderson Student Center, Room LL 07/Dance Time: 6-7 p.m. Don’t forget to visit our office at our new location in the Anderson Student Center – Room 224.
