The Sigma Chi fraternity at the University of St. Thomas will host Derby Days, its fun-filled week of charity events to raise money for the Huntsman Cancer Society, through Friday, April 8.
This is a tradition put on by all Sigma Chi chapters around the country to raise money for charity. This year, the St. Thomas chapter will have a lot of prizes, including Derby Days T-shirts, gift cards to local restaurants and comedy club tickets, to hand out at selected events.
Derby Days 2011
- Monday: Dinner at Davanni's, 4-8 p.m.
- Tuesday: Trike Derby, noon-2 p.m., upper quad
- Wednesday, Swim Relay, 8-9 p.m, AARC pool
- Thursday, Tug-of-war, noon-2 p.m., upper quad
- Friday, Dodgeball, 4-6 p.m., McCarthy Gym
Meal donations also will be accepted at St. Paul campus cafeterias Monday through Wednesday. More information about the events can be found on the Sigma Chi Facebook page.
