Please remember in your prayers Gary Berggren, who died at 66 on Thursday, Dec. 29, at his St. Paul home. A native of Stillwater and a University of Minnesota graduate, he worked as an insurance agent and financial planner.

Survivors include his partner, Dr. Sarah Stevenson, who retired in 2010 after leading international programs at the University of St. Thomas for 27 years.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Simonet Funeral Home, 6429 Osgood Ave. North, Stillwater. Visitation will begin an hour before the service.
