President of Bolin Digital to speak at Strategic Planning breakfast March 24

Dane Hartzell, president of Bolin Digital, the interactive agency of Bolin Marketing, and a graduate of the University of St. Thomas, will speak at the next Association for Strategic Planning breakfast series event Tuesday, March 24, in Room 202, Opus Hall, Minneapolis campus.

His topic is "Leveraging the Strategic Planning Process to Increase the Effectiveness of Digital Campaigns." Registration begins at 7 a.m., breakfast will be served at 7:15 a.m. and Hartzell's talk will begin at 7:45 a.m.

With a relatively new and fast-changing medium such as digital, there tends to be an acceptance of shooting from the hip. Hartzell will discuss how bringing sound strategic planning principles into digital campaigns can improve performance and outcomes.

As former brand interaction manger for Andersen Windows, Hartzell won the Web Marketing Award for Best Home-Building Web site. As the director of e-marketing for the world's leading e-commerce provider, Digital River, he managed clients such as Nabisco, Symantec, Novell, McAfee, Motorola, H&R Block, 3M, Siemens and Polaris.
