Approximately 1,350 new first-year students are expected to join the St. Thomas community during Summer Orientation and Registration, more commonly known as O&R. Staff members in the Dean of Students Office and Academic Counseling have been working all year to organize the program and rely on the support of the entire campus in greeting our newest community members.
Dates for this year’s first-year student and family orientation sessions are: July 12, 14, 16, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28 and 30. The tentative program schedule is available online. We also greet many incoming transfer students on Aug. 25 and Sept. 3, and welcome many incoming international students on Sept. 1-3.
Many campus departments participate in the various presentations, tours and fairs that happen throughout July and into the fall, and we value all of your support.
