Mental Health and Public Policy Conference set for Friday

The fifth annual Mental Health and Public Policy Conference will be held Friday, May 6, on the Minneapolis campus.

The conference, “Justice for People with Mental Illness: What Works and What We Need,” will address mental health issues specific to vulnerable youth and will explore social justice issues in mental health and disability. Conference sponsors encourage professionals and students in special education, social work, psychology, public policy, education and law to attend.

The conference is presented by:

  • Minnesota Office of Ombudsman for Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities
  • Barbara Schneider Foundation
