Undergraduate students who have conducted collaborative research with faculty mentors this summer are invited to present their work at the Inquiry at UST poster session from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, in the Owens Science Hall first-floor foyer.
Student presenters will receive a $50 stipend and a certificate of participation. Booklets containing the research projects' abstracts will be distributed.
To apply for inclusion in the poster session, students should submit an abstract of no more than 300 words via e-mail to Dr. Vanca Schrunk by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15. (See abstracts from May 2009.)
Provide this information in your abstract:
- Name of student presenter(s)
- Title of research project
- Name of faculty mentor
Poster specifications are available on the Undergraduate Research and Collaborative Scholarships Web page; open the Inquiry at UST link on the left. A booklet of students' abstracts will be available on the URCS Web site a few days prior to the event.
A free lunch will be available at the poster session.
