Now for this week’s question: “Who are more likely to prepare two or more drafts of an assignment – seniors or first-year students?’

The National Survey on Student Engagement (NSSE) was last administered to first-year (FY) and senior (SR) students at the University of St. Thomas (UST) during the spring of 2008. Surveys were administered electronically. Students were asked questions pertaining to demographic factors, academic and intellectual experiences, mental activities, enriching educational experiences, institutional environment, quality of relationships, and educational growth.

To find the answer to this question click the National Survey  link to read the IR&A Factsheet Volume III, Issue III “National Survey of Student Engagement 2008: Active Learning” developed by IR&A to respond to this question. This question addresses strategic priority Excellence (E1c, E1h, E2b, E4c) as described in the UST Strategic Plan.

The fifth person who responds at instresearch@stthomas.edu with the correct answer to today’s question will be acknowledged in next Wednesday's Bulletin Today. Each month, those who submit a correct response to any of the IR&A weekly Bulletin questions during the month will have the opportunity to win a UST coffee mug through a random drawing.
