Faculty-Staff Golf Tournament Tees Off May 31 St. Thomas Newsroom April 10, 2013 Attention golfers: Bring your birdies and bogeys to the annual Faculty and Staff Golf Tournament on Friday, May 31, at Oak Glen Golf Course in Stillwater. The cost of this social golf outing is $42, which includes greens fees for 18 holes, motorized carts, range balls, on-course prizes and lunch. Check-in will start at 7:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The tournament is open to current and former faculty and staff. Each team must have at least two current faculty or staff members. For those who have a team already organized, submit the team members’ names and UST ID numbers on the registration form at the link below. The maximum allowed per team is four. Singles looking to play will be matched with others. Teams of less than four also will be matched with others to complete a team. If there are less than 100 registrants, the committee has the discretion to add a fifth member to a team. View a copy of the tournament rules here. To register, fill out the online registration form, print it and bring it with your payment to Marie Aho, who will be available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Room 11, lower level, Aquinas Hall. The registration forms and payments must be submitted by Wednesday, May 22. All players must pay in advance of the tournament. This year’s tournament is limited to the first 100 registrants. Oak Glen requires final registration numbers by Friday, May 24; therefore, no refunds can be given after that date. After May 24, those who are unable to play, for any reason, may find a substitute. The tournament is sponsoring a food drive again this year. Bring nonperishable food items to the course. Look for signs at the course that indicate the drop-off location. There also is an opportunity to donate used golf equipment to the Club-Up nonprofit organization; bring the equipment to the course. View more information on Club-Up here.
